All major characters in Dume Hills are based off of people we (the creators) know, ourselves, or characters we have been tossing around for so long we know them like the back of our hands.
Linthar was walking to school one morning when she met Tinureth. The adults think that Tinureth is her imaginary friend, but the kids all know the difference.
Tinureth still hasn't divulged most of her past to her friends at Dume Hills. In order to see her, the kids must touch her (also invisible) pet fairy dragon, Itazura. Since nothing about Tinureth really makes any sense, the adults can't see her. That makes sense, right?
Nami is Tinureth's best friend. She is oblivious to Seth's crush on her, instead obsessing over Itazura. Nami is kind, caring, and loves animals.
